Department of Image Processing

In this talk we will overview the main research activities of the Image Processing and Vision Modeling group of the Instituto de Optica (CSIC) in the area of biomedical imaging. We will briefly survey the methods used, paying special attention to the joint representations and variational techniques. The results illustrate their usefulness in several application scenarios such as image denoising, motion estimation, resolution enhancement and image quality assessment.
